April 2022 Wk1 page layout example

Here's Alisons first layout for us. On the colourwheel this would be a classed as almost monochrome colour scheme. theres just a touch of neutral with the browns and whites.   Alison has very cleverly matted each photo with a narrow white border to make it stand out from the backgroud.    A perfect technique to highlight images on a plain or patterned paper. (you can also get your photos printed with white borders, which Alison might have done...  But... you have to be sure you don't need to crop them down once they are printed!)

March 2022 Wk4 Page Layout Example

How different do photos look when you just change then a little...    Jenny has rounded the corners of hers, which has removed nothing of value from the images, but creates a completely different feel to the page.   Also a reminder to all of you fans of symmetry (me included in this) that like their double page layouts to have matching papers....  its Ok to have different papers on each side, just match the colours rather than the design.

How pretty are these printed arrow papers from the March Scrapbox kit, I love the colours!   Jenny's given us another example of creative ways to journal.  She's used the official display from inside the Weald and Downland museum and taken a photo, which shes then added to the page to provide the information.   So easy and simple to do, saves loads of time and you know you've got the correct information!
