Monochrome works really well with these images, in this double page layout from Penny, using this weeks sketch. (if your're not getting The Weekly Sketch, click here to request it) Its free! Monochrome is different shades of the same colour, plus Jenny has the white of the snow too. Circles also work well if you want to include lots of photos on a page. Its time to meet a new guest scrapbooker, Penny is joining us for this month, here's what she had to say.... I started scrapbooking in 2002, introduced to it by a neighbour who was a CM rep. It helped me to deal with my thousands of photos (I inherited over 2,000 when my in-laws passed away). I joined a scrapbooking group and we met monthly for a workshop and had an annual scrapbooking weekend away. Here's our first double page layout from Penny, our guest scrapbook for this month. She's used this weeks page layout sketch (Get the weekly sketch here if you don't already) An important lesson to note here, is that her page layout follows the sketch for inspiration, but does not stick to it exactly.... Don't be put off by a sketch that has hearts when you don't want to use them, or portrait photos when you only have horizontal ones.
