7 essentials for your craft bag you can't do without

  1. Mini Trimmer

Ideal for trimming small papers and photos, I carry mine everywhere in my essentials crafting bag

  1. Large trimmer and score board

12”x12” is best option for scrapbooking.  The We R memory keepers version is my favourite; it folds out to a full 12” with a built-in scoring tool.  Its hard to beat, its great quality and worth paying the extra for.

  1. Tape runner

For quickness and less mess these are brilliant!.  Look for photo safe if you are a scrapbooking, I recommend the Scrapbook Adhesives E-Z runners, they are ISO certified for photo safety.

  1. Zig two way glue

I can’t do without this.  Sticks permanent while wet, or leave both surfaces to dry before joining for a post-it-note style stickiness.  I use the small one for embellishments and the large chisel tip version for re-glueing my cutting mats for my die cut machine.

  1. Scissors

I have a number of different sizes for different jobs, and NEVER use my fabric scissors for paper!

  1. Circle and oval cutters

I love my circle and oval cutting sets, and use them all the time, for cardmaking and cutting photos for my albums.  The Creative Memories version are the best in my opinion, if you can track them down.

  1. Cardstock in a range of basic colours

Because we all want a range of colours to choose from right now, while we are in the throes of creating, right?  They are cost effective to buy in pads, and mean you’ll not have to tear yourself away to go shopping.
