June 2024 wk1 Scrapbook page layout

Our first layout from guest scrapbooker Angela.  Here's what she says about her layout:

Pawsome Vibes

Our family are a lover of furry animals.  Whilst some of the pets have passed on and are no longer with us, they won’t be forgotten.  My son has a beautiful relationship with animals, so gentle and loving with them.

The dandelion is symbolic of how fragile life is, a reminder to be kind to others and also that our pets know how much they were loved whilst they were alive.  If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I would definitely want to come back as a pet in my house in another lifetime.

Light pattern cardstock and darker cardstock strips, with white matting for the photos.  Each of the photo matts were chalked, this time with black ink.

Photos were placed in alternating positions, with the middle photos on each page raised with adhesive foam squares.

Hint:  It is not always necessary to use photos taken by yourself, you can use images online provided of course that these are for personal use and do not infringe on any copyright laws.

The title was a combination of fonts traced onto the page and coloured in afterwards.  Stamped images of dandelion stems were used to fill empty spaces and tie to together the cardstock background and photo.
