Guest scrapbooker Kelly has made a fabulous job of showcasing her cruise photos on this double page layout. Using your best or favourite photo as a focal point is a great way to guide the readers eye across your page and tell the story.
Here’s a few more ways you can create a focal point on your layout:
- Make your main photo larger than the others on your page
- Crop the photo into a different shape to the rest of the images – oval or circle for instance
- Tilt the main photo at a different orientation to the others on your page
- Embellish the edges of the main photo with flowers, flourishes etc
- Mat the image in a contrast colour to make it stand out
