...does my behind look big....

a round tuit

I've been thinking about how I spend my time, I've been so busy recently....

Its difficult sometimes to get around to freeing up time for crafting, but its really important for many reasons:

  • To look forward to something you enjoy doing
  • To relax and have some 'mind space'
  • To get away from day to day mundane activities
  • Spend time with like minded people (if you scrap with others)
  • To give yourself the luxury of reminiscing over photos and memories

Notice I haven't listed.... 'so you don't get behind with your scrapbooking.....'

You are NOT behind...*     Just because you haven't done this years holiday yet, last years Christmas, or your children's baby photos are still sitting in the envelope when you 'baby' is coming up to 14 years old....

None of these are reasons to beat yourself up about....  My advice to you....

  • Enjoy the process of creating
  • Enjoy choosing colours, papers, ribbon and embellishments without feeling guilty or rushed....
  • Enjoy the company and chat of like minded people

Right....I'm taking my own advice and I'm off to a scrapping workshop tomorrow.... whatever you're planning to do, make sure there's time for you....!

*ok.... maybe if you're creating an 18th birthday album and you've only got a week left.... I'll give you that one.....
