The 'stitched' border is a lovely way to frame the pages, and pull the double page layout together. It signposts the eyes that this is to be viewed as a double page.
The Tag journalling is a stress-free way to add writing to your pages, without being worried about whether you will much it up! If you do make a mistake its not on the main page design, you can always start again!
Elaine has used chipboard paper clips as an embellishment from the Scrapbox kit. Chipboard elements are a much 'kinder' way to add interest to your pages, they are flatter, and much lighter.
