The power of three....

This colour scheme from Karelyn is a great example of how you can use a triadic selection from the colour wheel to add a punch of colour to your pages and make a feature really stand out.

A triadic scheme uses a main colour, in this case the blue, and then picks colours either side of the complete opposite colour (red and orange), to create a bit of a clash, but it works perfectly to add some energy to a design.

Karelyn has cleverly echoed the Chelsea red across the design, in the pensioner's red unifrom, the logo and the badge to complete the design and make it flow from left to right.
