This month is the turn of guest scrapbooker Sally to showcase her pages.
All her pages this month are inspired by layout ideas from The Weekly Sketch (click here to get yours each week, its free!)
Sally has used the sketch as a starting point to create her own design. It’s a good reminder that you can take inspiration from anything without copying it exactly if it doesn't work for you.
The white frames are really effective at highlighting the square photos on Sallys page. Simple techniques like this can make your pages easier to view and take very little time to do.
All you need to copy the white framing on this page is some white cardstock, and a trimmer or scissors. Stick the photo on the white card, then trim around the edges.
If you wanted to make them stand out a little more, pop them off the page with some foam pads to give a little texture without bumpy-ness.
Lindas tip: Its ok to not journal extensively on every page. Sally has used pre-printed embellishments to add journalling to her page that expresses her thoughts about the day and the place.
