Sarah has cleverly used the newspaper report of the wedding to do her journalling for her! It covers all the main information, dates, names, who was there and what happened. It’s a great way to use some one else’s impressions of an event.
You could mimic this technique by writing your own ‘report’ of an event or day that you’re scrapbooking. You could invite a guest ‘reporter’ to write about your event too.
Linda’s tip: Be careful with newspapers – they are generally low-quality paper, and acidic. This can make your photo fade more quickly so don’t let the paper come into contact with your photos. Alternatively, take a copy of the original newspaper and copy onto acid free photo paper.
