I am Kishwar, Kish to family and friends. If I think back to my childhood, I remember making scrapbooks even then; of cut outs from magazines and making collages of my favourite things; flowers, animals, quotes and places I wanted to visit and much more.
As an adult I was introduced to scrapbooking by a friend when she invited me to a Creative Memories class, I was hooked from then onwards.
This photo is of me with my Mum who inspired me immensely and it is due to her that I became so interested in crafts especially sewing.
I have been scrapbooking for 20 years and my passion for it has not dulled one bit. I always think of a double page layout when taking photos and my family and friends know about this and I do get teased in a light hearted way.
Besides scrapbooking I love other papercrafts as well like making albums from scratch and making cards. I often use these as personalised gifts for family and friends.
I have contributed my page layouts with well-known scrapbooking company and I hold scrapbook workshops and classes.
My other hobbies are painting, textile designing, sewing and patch work quilting. I also have a degree in Fine Arts which has given me a more in depth understanding of colour and composition.
I live in Cheshire with my husband having recently returned to the UK after living away in several places for twenty years.
My blog will be going live soon, watch this space!
