I live in Kent with my husband and 2 cats - who make up about 90% of the photos that I take, they are so adorably cute.
I work full time as an accountant which keeps me very busy, but outside of work and scrapbooking I enjoy going to the gym, playing board games and building lego models. I enjoy crochet and knitting that I can do of an evening in front of the TV. I make cards, scrapbook and paint Warhammer miniatures when I have a bit of a longer time to concentrate. I'm also currently a member of the Twilight Crafts Design team.
I got started in scrapbooking way back in 2003. I started off as many scrapbookers do as a card maker and transferred my skills after getting a kit from a TV shopping channel. When I started I was very much into cutting my own titles and would spend many a happy hour with a craft knife and intricate font. Now I have my own electronic cutter, pages progress a lot faster.
I love the creative element, the thrill of finding the perfect colour paper or embellishment that perfectly matches my photo. I enjoy creating memories and having something physical to look through to evoke memories. I try to scrap all types of photos, everyday things, a flower I've grown, my cats playing. Not just the 'big' moments like birthdays and holidays.
