She’s used this week’s sketch and some of the contents of the Memories and Photos Scrap Box kit for December 2022
Kathleen has got her needle and thread out for this one. She’s stitched lines across both pages, which adds texture and invites the eyes to move from left to right over the pages.
Linda’s Tip: There are various ways to stitch on your paper pages. Handstitching is possible, but you’ll need to mark out and punch the holes before sewing, to avoid very sore fingers.
If you have a sewing machine, you’ll be able to speed up the process. Mark twice and sew once, as if you need to redo, there will be holes punched in the paper by the needle! Also remember that paper will blunt the needle so don’t use it on fabric afterwards.
