Using strips is a fabulous way to make your paper go further and save money. Use a background cardstock colour and layer the strips up, adding the matted photos at the end of the process.
If you are a child of the 1970’s, here’s a little nostalgia for you, in the form of Dymo tape, which is making a comeback. Kathleen has used the tape to label her photos.
Linda’s Tip: If you look closely, you’ll notice that Kathleen has further enhanced the borders of the paper strips by adding a line with a silver pen. All you need to do is trace around the edges of the strips with a dashed line. Pens are a great way to add texture and layers to your pages for minimum cost, I would recommend you have Black, White and silver in your scrapbooking tool kit.
