I just love the clean and simple lines of Angela’s double page layout. She demonstrates how you can easily fit 8 photos on a layout without it looking crowded and still have room for journalling and a title.
She hasn’t strayed far from the original sketch design, but her journalling technique is interesting. If you are a nervous journaller, the method Angela has used is a excellent, stress free way to add writing to your page, and use up your cardstock scraps.
The technique is easy to use. Draft out your journalling for your page, checking any spellings of places names etc. Cut your spare cardstock into strips, using a paper trimmer if you can, or a pair of scissors. Use a permanent ink pen to write your journalling. I use Unipin pens as my pen of choice, they come in different size tips (available on Amazon at the time of writing)
The big advantage of this method is if you make a mistake, and lets face it, its easy to do. You can rewrite without spoiling your page.
