A massive thank you to Alison for creating some wonderful pages for us using the Weekly Sketch and the Scrapboz kits.
This is her final double page layout, and Alison has created a beautiful, but simple page that anyone could make with only the basic of tools...
She has used printed paper from the April Scrapbox, and solid cardstock background. If you look carefully, you'll see she has used the ink pad from the kit to colour the edges of the printed paper to make them stand out, almost with a 3d effect. Its a very easy technique, and another one that will save you time and money, no need to buy expensive tools or embellishments...
There's also a lesson to be learning about thinking creatively.... Alison has taken the Asian parasol stamp from the kit, and used it to make embellishments for the layout, which is noting to do with anything oriental... but I'll think you'll agree with me that it works perfectly...!
