Here's Alisons first layout for us.
On the colourwheel this would be a classed as almost monochrome colour scheme. theres just a touch of neutral with the browns and whites.
Alison has very cleverly matted each photo with a narrow white border to make it stand out from the backgroud.
A perfect technique to highlight images on a plain or patterned paper. (you can also get your photos printed with white borders, which Alison might have done... But... you have to be sure you don't need to crop them down once they are printed!)
