Ideas for Making Page Titles

A striking title can set the tone for your scrapbook layout, draw attention, and tie the story together.

Using a variety of title techniques across your albums can keep your layouts fresh and exciting, while also helping each page tell its story more clearly, just as the vibrant, patterned letters do in the LEGOLAND page in this article.

Here are some creative approaches to making your titles stand out:

• Use Printed Paper for Die-Cut Letters
  Patterned papers can add personality and variation to each letter in your title. In the example attached, the word LEGOLAND is cut from a mixture of printed papers, creating a playful, look that reflects the fun of the day out. Try choosing papers that echo the colours in your photos.
• Repurpose Printed Photos as Title Letters
  Instead of reaching for patterned paper, consider using parts of your photos to create letters. This can be especially effective for nature shots, cityscapes, or detailed textures like sand, brick, or wood. You might want to bear this in mind when you’re snapping your photos next time you’re out!
