Nature’s Bouquet
Guest scrapbook Angela is back to tell you about this layout that she created....
"I am not a gardener, nor do I have green fingers, but I do appreciate the beauty of nature. I did have to look up all the names of the flowers! (bar a few that I know well).
I used a busy background and plain cardstock for matting the photos. Each of the matting cards were chalked with the blue ink pad, using a fingertip dauber.
A white Gelly Roll pen for bordering and blue for journalling. The small blue flowers were chalked with alcohol ink markers for more shading.
A ruler was used for spacing of the title. Repeat formation/layout patterns were used for placement.
This selection of the flowers was taken in July during the peak of Summer, in and around the Whitwell Station in Reepham and surrounding areas throughout our travels most of which are Norfolk based.
There is so much beauty and this was a way to remember just some of the florals. I love that I was able to capture a few of the hardworking pollinators at work to add to the magic.
I am going to order a photobook and use it as a reference guide when I need to stamp and colour at a later stage."
