Notes from a Craft Studio — get to know me

What has kept you running your business after more than 20 years?

Posted by Linda Gransby on

I’m sure everyone says their customers, but they really have inspired me to carry on when things got difficult!  I’ve been in business for over 20 years, and holding crafting residential events for 14 years, and I have loyal delegates that book every year.  It really is meeting up with friends each time, and people book quickly to get the same event as people they know....  although that means that newbies have to get in fast to get places, they go quickly!

a question.... why do you make albums?

Posted by Linda Gransby on

I inherited a beautiful victorian album from my grandparents... Its not leather bound and it hasn't got parchment pages, beautiful hand painted designs, or a real gold clasp. I’m sure many of you know I’m a one-woman band here at Memories and Photos HQ. When I’m not running the residential crafting weekends, or workshops there is plenty of things to keep my busy.   One of my favourite is unpacking the new products, it’s just like Christmas to have big brown parcels turning up on my doorstep full of goodies that I’ve chosen for you (or is that for me  😊  ) Here’s a few pics of the latest box to turn up… its a new consignment of albums, they'll be available in my online shop tomorrow....! more from...
